The responses reflect the widespread use of diuretics, low salt diet, anti-anxiety (eg. Valium), anti-nausea (e.g.Antivert) and steroids as available treatments. However, variations in treatments are widespread, indicating the absence of consensus in terms of the most effective treatments to use. This may be more apparent in our survey which includes treatments from many different countries, some of which are not in use in the USA.
