Electrode Placement LocationsFor the basal turn of the guinea pig cochlea, distances (D) measured on the outside of the cochlea from the "lip" of the round window are approximately D + 0.13 mm from the basal end of the scala (i.e. a pipette inserted into ST at 1 mm from the RW lip corresponds to a location of 1.13 mm in the simulator).
